Together, we’ve made history.
This fall, Formula Ford proudly joined Ford’s Global Food Drive — a worldwide initiative uniting Ford dealerships to fight food insecurity in local communities. What started as a shared goal to collect 1 million pounds of food turned into something truly extraordinary.
Thanks to the passion, dedication, and generosity of the Global Ford Network, we are thrilled to share that Ford has officially surpassed the donation goal — collecting over 2 million pounds of food worldwide. This remarkable effort has been officially recognized as the World’s Largest Auto Dealer Food Drive, with participation from 3,050 Ford dealerships across 31 countries.
Here at home, Formula Ford joined nearly half of all Ford of Canada Dealers who participated, helping contribute to an incredible 212,797 pounds of food collected across Canada — the third-largest total of any Ford market in the world. At our dealership alone, we collected 280 pounds of food to support families in the Durham Region.
These numbers represent more than statistics. They mean full plates, stronger communities, and hope for families who need it most. Every can, every box, and every donation made a difference — and together, we achieved something historic.

 Making a Difference Locally
Our local collection supported Feed The Need Food Bank, directly benefiting families in the Toronto area. Through the generosity of our staff, customers, and community members, Formula Ford proudly contributed to Ford’s global mission of “Building Together.”
A Global Milestone — Powered by Local Communities
This record-breaking success shows the power of unity when dealerships and communities come together for a common purpose. It’s proof that when we work hand in hand, we can create real, lasting change — both here in our neighbourhoods and around the world.
Thank You
To everyone who donated and helped spread the word — thank you. Your kindness and commitment played a part in a world record, and more importantly, in supporting those who need it most.
Together, we didn’t just say “We can make a difference” — we did.
