Ford Lincoln reception was very good. But In-service reception almost never picked up the phone. (Called 10 times probably picked up once, didn't call back after I left msgs either).Brought my car in to fix the tire, however my tire couldn't be fixed so needed a replacement. Was told needed 3 business days to get the tire delivered. Needed my car for work so I took my car back, half way to work the tire ran of out air (no spare tire was placed while car was at in-service....even tho reception said a temporary tire would be placed). Had to borrow pump from friend and put air in the broken tire everyday before work. Was extremely inconvenient (thought for sure a temporary tire was going to be placed since the car was in the shop for 3 hours that day).Waited 4 business days (excluding Sunday) and still did not get call back. Had to personally call to ask them. (In-service reception did not pick up the phone as usual). Ford Lincoln reception had to find out for me, apparently tire was there already but nobody ever called. The tire replacement was smooth.Overall too much work and stress just to replace a tire. 2/5

I had a problem with my windshield wiper fluid not working and a couple of other minor issues. The service department got me in right away, on the same day, even though they were fully booked.The team at Formula Ford Lincoln Pickering was helpful, courteous, and efficient as always. Their shuttle service during lockdown (no waiting at the dealership any more) was much appreciated.I have been going to this dealership for service for over 5 years now, and would not hesitate to recommend them for my Lincoln service.

Terrible service.My truck came in on Wednesday December 9,Wasn’t ready until Monday December 21.The service advisor Monique didn’t listen to anything I had to say. The truck wouldn’t turn on. No electronics worked at all. She had it booked in for a transmission technician to look at it. THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE TRANSMISSION. It took her 4 days to get someone to start working on the electrical components of the truckI explain to them my truck broke down in Pickering but I lived 400 km away in North Bay. They didn’t make my truck a priority. I was told every other day my truck would be ready but was never finished. Finally After a week and a half they still had not got nowhere. I told them I needed the truck ready over the weekend as I would back in the areaThey said it wouldn’t be ready for when I was in the area and they still didn’t know what the problem was. Having explain to these people a week and a half ago the truck was show a stored code about an issue with the body control module, they decided to try to replace that part. At 11 am on Monday they said the truck was working again and ready to pick upIt took them 3 hours to fix my truck after taking nearly 2 weeks to listen to what I was sayingI drove 1600km in 48 hours because these people needed 3 more hours to do their jobs.Never bring your vehicle here.It might be 2 weeks or more til you see it again

My 11 explorer had issues with heating, when the local mechanic did everything to resolve the issue but couldnt find the cause and i was pushed to the ford dealership. I had to go in twice as they didnt want to listen to me on the issue from my side and they did generic problem fixes which didnt resolve the trouble. Finally i believe it was the third visit, they had their HVAC specilaist diagnose the issue and ended up that the climate control module had to be replaced which was ordered and that was to be shipped from the USA. After 9 months, never received a call on the order status and i did the follow up today. It didnt sound like the order was placed from what i heard and apparently i should be receiving a call back. In addition they also did the link recall and after 9 months i have the noise from the links back and now that has to be fixed. Love to go american brands but i feel the older vehicles do not get any attention when it comes to fixing issues. And its pretty expensive to own. It makes sense why people own more Non american cars these days that provide more value and less of maintenance troubles.If things work out, i will revisit this review and update the rating, but unfortunately this has caused a lot of my time wasted and a single star is the best representation of my experience with Formula Ford Pickering team.Update: thanks for the response, i h was suppsed to get a call back to my enquiry above on sep 3rd, today as of sep 8th, no calls received.Update: Sep 13 - no responses yet.Update Dec 13 - i was told all the parts have arrived and i. Ooked an appoitment early Nov. The car was dropped off and by evening got the call from service that the part has bot arrived and that there had been some confuaion on their end. The service team wanted me to deal with the parts to clear the dirt.I tried my best to give this co the benefit of doubt and returned back many times but its been only failures and exhibition of jokes.

On Thursday November 26 2020 I left the truck for the Oil Change.My advisor was Loise ,excellent customer service representative.My problem is the next day puddle under car from oil????This is 4 (fourth) consecutive oil change that after ordinary oil change service I have to take time off from work to take car back to shop for fixing.Not to mention my driveway is oily like I have some 30 years old car.Unbelievable,just oil change.This is not normal.Brought to attention to shop manager before but no use,same thing happened again . Great experience at Formula Ford.I was greeted the second I walked into the service area, was helped. Big plus, hand sanitizer was available at the the entrance and staff were wearing masks, and desk shields were fully in place.Walked through the service and current recommendations, and got updates all along the way. Re: 2011 Ford EscapeFormula Ford was the second quote I received to replace the subframe. The first was quite bit cheaper but when Louis explained the probable cause (made sense) for the extensive rust, what the job entailed and the exceptional mechanic who would work on my car she gained my trust and confidence in Formula Ford. Louis went out of her way to provide some of the best customer service I have experienced.

What a great and professional service at Formula Ford Pickering. I brought my Edge for a recall service. They were quick and responsive. Of course, mask and sanitizer were mandatory to enter the service centre. They also booked an Uber to drop me home until the service was completed, then called few hours afterwards with a scheduled Uber to pick me up from home. My Edge was sanitized and cleaned before the service and afterwards as well. It was a great and friendly experience.

The use of Uber for customer service was well organized. Got a puncture in one of my tires on a Friday evening coming home from work. I rushed over to Formula Ford as it slowly leaked out. I made it without going completely flat but all the service guys were gone for the night! The service lady was great, I left it for the night and it was up and running the very next morning with oil change and tire rotation by 10am. We had brought our Ford Explore in for a few recalls as well as an AC issue that turned out to be the compressor and we needed a new one. We were out of vehicle for almost 2 months and the warranty only covered 10 days for a rental so it really put us out. We understand with Covid there are delays but I think there should’ve been more done for us regarding a rental vehicle. Although the person we dealt with was quite friendly, there were times when we could not get a hold of them and our phone calls weren’t returned until days later. Then when we finally went to pick up our vehicle they could not find our keys for about 45 mins. Finally, they were found and we left in our Explorer that was quite dirty. We just thought that after all this time and inconvenience, they would at least give it a quick wash.Not overly impressed.

Poor customer service and unruly business requests - I would not buy from this dealership!We contacted them about a truck on a Friday and that we needed to come on the Monday as we were quite a distance away and we need approval for the vehicle via my husband's work. We offered to give a refundable $500 deposit to hold the truck. The sales manager Dean told our sales person that we had to give a $1000 non-refundable deposit. What??? There was never paperwork to tell us that it was non-refundable and I was not told it was non-refundable until I asked!i emailed the heads of the dealership and they said it was due to a shortage of trucks. You would think with a shortage they wouldn't have been worried about holding a truck as they know it will sell if we didn't take it and the appreciation from the customer in helping would far out way the risk. We ended up buying from another dealership locally that not only held the truck for us, they did it without a deposit. Customer service! That is what it is all about!

I brought my ford here 3 weeks ago, I have A/C problem. They Diagnosed my car and they said my evaporator has leak and the compressor has problem and both need to be change. It will cost $5,000 plus labor. Diagnostics cost me $160. I went for second opinion and found out my A/C needs refrigerant for the system, and the vacuum test shows NO leaks in the system and the compressor is working good and cost me $80. My car is only 5 years old and as A/C technician I know this dealership is NOT HONEST or worst incapable technicians.I bought my car here brand new and even the extended warranty. At the first year they are ok but in the past year before my extended warranty expired if I complain something wrong with the car they will always say "that is normal" now my extended warranty expired they are the first one to say "this need to be fix"Please STAY AWAY from this dealership

Terrible service. Tried to fix door latch problem on F150 but still have problems. Have Transmission issues and Formula Ford does not even test drive the truck. Service Manager Shawn says its a "software" issue. I take it to anther Ford dealer who know what they are doing and they confirm its a mechanical issue. Then Shawn lies and says they don't have any openings to do the repair. They charge you for service that they don't actually do. They fast track your vehicle in and out without doing the repairs. I will never step foot in this dealership again. Most incompetent and unprofessional dealership you can ever go to.

Me and my family were there last night Aug 17/2020. After our meeting with the sales rep about a new f150 i asked them did anything seem weird. My wife and 17yr old replied that the rep seemed upset that we were requesting a certain type of truck. He didn't seemed to want to work with us to try to find something that would work. Even at the end no brochure or his card to say here have a look at home and see if anything can work for you.It was a feeling of here's what we have you have to buy this and its a "ford we are the #1 seller since the ice age "Well Dodge may just get one more added to their number.

Service department is terrible. My transmission was having issues. Formula Ford does not even do a test drive and then says they can't find the problem. Then Shawn, the service manager, says its a "software" problem. He then lies and says they are booked up and take it to another dealership. I take it to another Ford dealer and they confirm its a mechanical problem. Formula Ford then tries to fix my door latch as the front door does not stay closed. After trying to fix it, the problem then reoccurs. This dealership do not know how to do repairs and then charge dealership prices to do them. I will never go back. You are better off going to another Ford dealer. These guys are unqualified and unprofessional.

I'm really pleased with Formula Ford/Lincoln and their staff. All of the members I have interacted with are very friendly. They always greet you with smiles, and take the time to answer your questions. I think Due to covid they weren't doing shuttle drop offs. But they hooked me up the Uber drop off and pick up without any hesitation. We came to this dealership on July 10th at 1:30 pm for a recall letter on our Ford Escape. The reception lady working at service department first told us we need to wait for 4 hours while the recall letter says this check can be done as little as 10 mins. She said 4 hours reason being they don’t have available technicians and equipment until 5 pm, then why book us at this time. Further asking if this can be done quicker as we need to go somewhere else, she said she doesn’t know and even asking back if we want all their technicians to drop what they are doing right now and just do service for us. This is VERY RUDE and not professional at all.A technician heard us arguing and came out says he can do the work now. And we got our car back in about 15 mins.Ford need to hire a better service reception who can do a proper job by giving customer accurate and helpful information.

We are very disappointed with Ford and their customer service. Last August (2019) we needed to replace our family vehicle and after discussing options with a salesperson at the Pickering Ford dealership, we went with a Ford Flex (2018 used model with approx.. 14,000kms). Before purchasing, the salesperson confirmed again that a roof rack could be installed and would support our canoe / kayak – we paid an additional cost for this add on and now nearly a year later, still waiting for the installation. We have followed up numerous times and keep getting the run around about parts and shipping delays ?? (this is before the COVID situation). We have left several messages with both the sales person and the parts department and no one has returned our calls. We've been more then patient waiting for this installation and very upset with the treatment we have received from Ford!

To say that visiting Formula Ford Lincoln Sales was fantastic, would be an understatement. From when I first entered the dealership to when I exited it, I was astounded at the level of care and respect the employees gave their customers. Originally planning on buying the Nautilus, the manager's (John) careful words made me buy the Aviator. As soon as I received the SUV, I was helped with the functions of it and was introduced to all its new features (by John and Dominique). The SUV itself pleased me very much, with both my daughter and wife relishing the experiences too. Even now, after I had bought the vehicle, I was assured that I would always be able to ask for help. Two issues, my F150 Platinum 2015 has know n issues with the washer fluid. Got the lines changed same issues no warranty. Then the seats heating/cooling goes on both sides simultaneously now the truck is out of warranty. I want to love the truck but these issues are a pain in the bu##! A Ford issue not specific to Formula Ford but they had the chance to fix issues

I brought my 2019 F150 to install the Extang Tonneau cover for my truck. Ross from Parts Department is so helpful in terms of pricing and the knowledge of the item by itself.I am very disappointed that after installing the tonneau cover by the service dept, it was not properly line up resulting to the rain water going in to the box. The support bracket was lightly tighten and I have to re do everything to make it worthwhile and useable.

I was browsing their F150 inventory outside parking lot when I was approached by one of their over eager sales reps... Asking me if I needed any assistance. I replied by telling him I'm doing fine looking at the vehicles on my own without any pressure from any of their sales reps... He answered that there wouldn't be any pressure at all... I ignored him and started walking away from his vicinity. He apologized for having bothered me as he walked towards their building... I looked at a few more vehicles and left...

Got my own first car ever from Pickering Ford and it was a smooth and incredible experience. Waleed, our sales rep was incredible and extremely helpful! I was hesitant to start car shopping because of the hassle of looking around but this was the first dealership I went to and they made it all work for us :) The car is amazing on its own and Waleed's amazing customer service was a cherry a top. Horrible....Dropped off my vehicle (under warranty) on Thursday evening, got a call from service advisor on Monday that vehicle is ready, come pick it up...I left work early enough not to get stuck in traffic, returned my rental down the street at Enterprise, got a shuttle to Formula only to find out that my vehicle ISN'T ready at all. my service advisor said bye i'm leaving, and someone will give you the keys.now I have no service advisor, and she coincidentally didn't do any closing paper work (yellow work order you get), and the shop foreman has no idea what happened, why I was called to pick up when clearly my vehicle is not ready for pick up.....gave me a loaner car, told me to hang on until next day (Tuesday). I got a call to pick up again...I asked for a manager to call me as it was a complete waste of time on Monday.Operations Manager Sean called me at 3:45pm (just prior to rush hour) and expected me to drop everything and come back to pick up my vehicle....He then said "I know only bits and pieces of what happened, I don't know the exact story" - as a manager you should be concerned about your staff not telling you the entire story if that was true, but then he came out and explained that he knew everything all along.....Not once did operations Manager Sean apologize for any inconvenience, not once did he show any sign of GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE, in fact the only sort of sympathy I got was - "hey we gave you a loaner, that's courtesy enough"Poor customer service from Management, no sense of any sympathy let alone any realization that this was completely the fault of the advisor and FORMULA FORD - however the advisor LOIS did acknowledge it was completely her fault.When we give our cars for warranty, they are not doing it for free, they get reimbursed from FORD Canada, so why is it that they made it seem like they were doing me a favor by not charging me for this "work order" my vehicle is 2019 with 10k km only, i'm well within my warranty.

Only negative is I went to part department to inquire about winter tires and rims, the guys was in the back, looking out at the front counter, saw me, made eye contact, then walked away. When trying to transfer my lease a couple of years ago I had a very difficult time trying to make arrangements with the woman in the office. She would not return any of my calls. It took complaints to finally get a response. Now I keep getting emails asking about my experience with my latest service with the vehicle that I transferred over 2 years ago. I responded to the email asking that they update their records but keep getting emails reminding me to provide my feedback. So here it is. I'm in the market to buy a new vehicle and if I decide to purchase a Ford it won't be at this dealership.

I took my 2017 Lincoln MKC in recently (08/27/2019) for some what I thought was some excessive noise coming from the rear end. I had done the rear brakes about 2 weeks before that, and put the noise down to that, but, the noise continued. I got a loaner (nice perk of leasing a Lincoln product), and left the car there all day. Car was checked from front to rear wheel bearings, differential, tires balanced, and rotated, and had a "forced alignment" done. (that was done at my cost, which the dealership gave me a reduced price on). The best the dealership could come up with was that the tires were worn unevenly (scalloped is the term they used), and this was causing the humming sound/vibration I was getting at speeds above 80km/hr. Other than buying new summer tires, I would have to live with it. Since my lease was going to be up in May 2020, and I would be putting winter tires on in November 2019, and putting the summers back on next mid-April, I guess I will have to live with it (the noise). I will say, that the alignment and rotating the tires did help somewhat. I also had some wind noise on the front drivers side, which they addressed by adjusting the way the door was hung, but, strangely enough, and quite by accident, I discovered that the sound was coming from the driver's side mirror. When I retracted the mirror at highway speed, the sound increased signifcantly. I don't think there is a fix for this...perhaps the wind is resonating through the outlet for the heated mirror.Overall, I was treated very well by Formula Ford in Pickering...this is my 3rd vehicle I have got from them (I bought a 2007 Edge, and then leased a 2014 Edge, before I leased my Lincoln). I will be going back for another Ford when my lease is up in 2020.Bruce Bothwell

We dealt with Service Advisor Lois Chenell and the service was excellent and courteous. There was also a gentleman helping out with little details. We are from out of town when our car died on Morningside Rd. in Pickering. We had to call CAA for a tow to the nearest dealership, and once there, our car was seen promptly. We were treated well and were given a courtesy shuttle to the Pickering Mall, and were picked up there once the car was ready. The transmission module was replaced and an outstanding recall issue was taken care of as well. All in all, about 4 hours, and everything covered by warrranty. Thank you Formula Ford Sales!

So I recently had the opportunity to pick up a 2019 brand new 6.7 liter diesel f250 from formula Ford and I have to tell you John is the best.ok so I live in Hamilton and I have been searching for the perfect truck with the options I needed and some of the other stuff that I didn't need ))) I'm very picky John went out of his way to take care of my long distance purchase. to buy something so expensive these days without seeing it is crazy John made it so easy.when me and my wife got there the truck was ready and spanky new . I picked it up they offered to deliver it no charge but I really wanted to meet these guys.. I enjoyed my experience so much that I am already in the process of ordering a 2020 f550 I own a local landscaping company in Hamilton DL landscaping and for all our trucks we will be making the trip to formula Ford in Pickering to see John and all of his amazing staffI definitely would recommend these guys and am so happy with my truck she is one week old today and has already saved me alot of money if you want a ford at great price with amazing service this is the place to go

I'm frustrated by the amount of time, money and inconvenience with resolving the issues with seat and sunroof. I've had to bring my vehicle in 3 times and now a forth to resolve the heated seats issue. The module part number wasn't in the Ford catalogue. This started in 2018 when i needed my seat warmers...Its May and now they are telling me I need an element as well and need me to bring the vehicle back in. In addition, I barely use my sunroof and the motor apparently dies and not covered under warranty. I don't use a sunroof in winter in Canada so what would make the motor die over the winter????This has been a frustrating and terrible customer experience...especially dropping $1,100 and I'm still not done on a 2 year old vehicle.

Ford in Pickering has always been very good servicing my car for the past 8 plus years now! The last visit I waited for a water pump - for 2 weeks before I had to call to inquire about water pump which was there but was never called to book appointment to install it. Other than that,the rest of service went very well!

Disappointed with the communication about the shuttle service. Being told the work on my truck was ready, I was called at 3:36pm and told a shuttle is on its way but did not show up until after 5pm. I called numerous times to get an update to be referred to the voicemail 3-4 times. There was no apology made by customer service about the delay or miscommunication.

Im giving this place a 3 three star rating for different reasons. The person by the name of Lydia, is completely rude and does not own up to her mistakes. She loves to argue and thinks that she is correct all the time. She made a mistake with booking me in for a recall, and I have 2 witnesses that can account for what she said on the phone. All it took was for a quick apology and to say "yeaup, it was my fault," but that was too much for her. I ended up speaking to Sean Taylor, and he has helped out so much. So Lydia would get a minus 5 rating and sean will get a 5/5 rating. Sean was great, he went above and beyond to help me out. One toxic person in that dealership can spoil the good work of everyone else.

I sent several requests through their website to book a test drive and never got a reply back. Eventually I just went there to see the car and they told me they sold it. Why do you have the vehicle on Autotrader and your website if you sold it? Because it's bait for customers to come in that's why.Had a terrible experience before as well where you forced my mother to put a deposit on a car that she didn't want and when I came with her to get her money back your sales staff told me that his manager is brown and old school and will be offended that I don't let my mother buy a car. I told him it was none of his or his managers business what we wanted and to just give our deposit back. He then proceeded to ask me TO GO OUTSIDE AND FIGHT HIM. YES PEOPLE THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED TO ME AND MY MOTHER. I HAVE VIDEO EVIDENCE TO PROVE IT. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN ANY FORD DEALERSHIP EVER AGAIN. KEEP YOUR GARBAGE CARS AND SERVICE.

The only reason this review is only 2 starts is because I signed up for the car detailing package but after I paid and got into my truck I looked back and noticed the whole back seat wasn't cleaned or even vacuumed. I wasn't going to wait around etc so I just decided I will do it my self but most likely I wont get my truck detailed there again. I was really disappointing....

Ford certified used vehicles.So far not even a year later. New media center. New oil cooler. New turbo. New cylinder head. Almost $10k in repairs.I will not be paying anyone in your dealership another obsolete red cent.Response to owner:Too little too late. You have all my details and I have done my due diligence by way of communicating my dis satisfaction on several occasions. I have not received any communications other than your spam to buy more Fords.Presently, 2 years later it still disappoints and offends me when I read my own review that reminds me what an atrocious first dealership experience this was.It could have been, and should have been been made right when I was communicating face to face with your staff.Granted I can't speak to the fact this may have changed since, and I sincerely hope it has, because at the very least I know Ford trucks are great, and a lot of my friends own and enjoy them.In my opinion you failed to meet or enforce with your staff the standard you set for yourself. I will not be a returning customer.

After a year of ownership I have to say that the sales and service advisors are great. The technicians are horrible, I will never take my vehicle back to this dealership for service again. I gave them 5 chances and now I am terribly disappointed with them. First time I went for a recall they fixed it but did not put my truck back together, I had to go back next dqy and complain. Second time I took it for my GPS not working. They said they cleaned the part, did a reset, and it works. Within 5 minutes of me driving away with the vehicle it stopped working. I had to schedule another appointment for them to tell me they will order a part. A week went by and the part arrived so I scheduled another appointment to take my vehicle on. Low and behold, it's the wrong part. I left my vehicle there for a week as it was taken apart from the previous appointment awaiting the new part. After a week the new part came in, tech installed it and said it was fixed. I drove away and once again the issue was still there. The technician did not test the functionality properly during each visit which could avoid this whole situation.

This is our second pleasant experience at Formula Ford (initial review, below). It was time to trade in our truck, and the process could not be more seamless. We worked closely with Greg initially, and then with both Greg and Ali (and Julie at the end). Greg is probably the nicest least-pushy person we have met. Charles was extremely helpful and patient with all of our questions and gave us a lot of insight as to the type of trucks available and which one would meet our needs. Several visits thereafter, we realized that the Ford F150 kept us coming back. This is when we met Prem. Both Charles and Prem were extremely patient with us and we truly believe that we received not only the best service, but the best deal possible. Here we are...several weeks later, picking up our new factory-built truck. And the service standard remains up to perfection. They even revisited our initial sales agreement and notified us that we could actually get an even better deal (if you can believe it). Recently went again for routine maintenance on a 6+ year old car. I know people often only go to dealerships until their warranty runs out but I do get great friendly service here and the cost does not seem to be more than would be paid elsewhere once the return promos are earned. Also, I do not get pushy cross sales pitches like at certain drive in oil change chains.

Have had consistently poor service of our Ford vehicles here (wheels, yes happened more than once, falling off on the highway following tire changes, mysterious malfunction of air conditioning following oil changes, windshield washer fluid completely empty even though "box" has been ticked confirming inspection, etc). Final straw last week when told expensive repairs required for car. No compensation offered even though we said we would rather purchase a new car. FORD missed out on the deal; purchased a new SUV the next day, different manufacturer.This dealership cost FORD the loyalty of a 25 year purchaser of FORD vehicles.

We bought an EcoSport in June. Shortly after we had the car we noticed the radio was change stations when you started the car (changed to an Am station with someone with a strong accent talking loudly), there was a squeak from the back seats and when there was a loud noise in the area the alarm would go off. Also, there was a bump in the drivers door armrest under the leather.We took it in to have all these issues looked at. Ford ordered a new armrest, rest the radio to factory settings, fixed the alarm and said the squeak was the leather seats and it would go away. (it was not that kind of a squeak). After getting it back the radio still changed on its own and the seats were still squeaking.When I took it back in to have the armrest replaced I asked them to look at the radio and seats again.This time they said there was a wire not connected for the radio and the seat noise was the leather.The next day the drivers window auto button would not work so back I went. I was told the person who replaced the armrest must have hit something.So now I have a car that the back seats are still squeaking and the radio changes to AM by itself.

Drop the car around 1030-1100am, I had to call at 430pm to find out my engine gone on suv 2010 Ford Edge where service advisor couldn’t call and tell me..worst part didn’t explain what happen properly but puts on work order and attach a sales representative business card that engine is gone time for a replacement vehicle ..this suv I had for 2011 -2018 and was so pissed!Anyways I would never go to theee guys or will recommend anyone as they don’t look after their customers.First impression failed - guess what I did buy a new suv but bye bye ford because of that service not returning to buy ford :)
